Why I started this
Shopping online means wading through dozens of near-identical listings with spec sheets that never line up. I got tired of doing that homework for friends one product at a time, so I started writing it down. Each guide narrows a category to a short list, explains who each pick fits, and is upfront about the downsides.
How I actually pick products
I start from what people are searching for in a category, pull together the listings and official spec sheets, and compare the details that really change the experience: size, materials, capacity, compatibility, what is in the box. I drop anything with missing or contradictory information. Then I order the list by my own judgment and write a note on every guide saying why — and what I left out.
What I do not do: I do not have the products in hand and I do not run tests. I do not analyse customer reviews, and I do not show star ratings, review counts or prices — those change daily and belong on the store page. How the guides get written
I use AI writing tools to turn my research notes and the spec sheets into a first draft. Then I read it, cut what is wrong or fluffy, decide the final order, and add my own note at the top. Nothing goes live without that note — the site literally will not publish an article until I have written it. If you find a factual mistake, tell me and I will fix it.
